OUPV (aka 6-pack)
OUPV stands for "Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel". It is often called the 6-pack because, although it is good for operating a vessel up to 100 gross tons and 65 feet in length, you may take only 6 paying passengers or less with this license.

Requirements
- 18 years old, minimum
- 360 total days on any water
- 90 of the 360 days must be within the last 3 years
- Application
- Physical and Eye Exam (within last 12 months)
- Drug Screening
- Small Vessel Sea Service Form
- Driver's License or photo ID (first day of class)
- Original birth certificate or current U.S. Passport
- Three (3) character references
- Sea Summary form (if you served on more than one vessel)
- Two (2) fingerprint cards (provided first day of class)
- First Aid and CPR certification within the past 12 months
